Frequently Asked Questions
Working with Just Right Renovations in Northern Virginia & Surrounding Areas
How Do I get started?
Getting started begins with two of the most important parts of the home renovation process: communication and collaboration. First, we encourage you to reach out to us online or by phone. You can expect a prompt reply as we immediately begin to gather and share as much information as possible regarding your project.
This initial contact will tell you more about our process and help us learn more about your needs. The next step will be an in-home consultation, so we can meet in person and discuss your project in more detail.
Is there a fee for the initial consultation?
There is no fee for our initial consultation.
What is the smallest or largest project Just Right Reno can complete?
Scale is important when it comes to the home renovation process. Having a team that executes projects of similar scope on a regular basis maximizes efficiency.
How long will my project take?
Home renovation projects vary in size and scope, which, of course, determines the timeline. At Just Right Renovations, we take scheduling seriously. We’ll present a detailed schedule for your project before a contract is signed and use project management approach to carry out the work and delivery on time.
While we do our best to set reasonable expectations and help you plan for contingencies, delays can still happen, and we’re committed to communicating these things with you and working quickly to resolve them before they potentially impact your project timeline.
Do you handle permits and inspections?
Yes, we handle all necessary permits and inspections for your remodeling project. Our team ensures that all work complies with local building codes and regulations to avoid delays and fines.
Can I live in my home during the remodel?
Depending on the scope of the renovation, living in your home during the project is often possible. For major renovations, we discuss safety measures, potential disruptions, and ways to minimize inconvenience.
How do you keep me updated before and during my remodel?
You’ll be assigned a dedicated project manager who will be your main point of contact. They’ll provide regular updates, answer your questions, and ensure that the project stays on track.
